WHAT FORMAT SHOULD I SUPPLY?
For best results, please supply your artwork to us as High Resolution PDF files. Files should be 300dpi. We can also work from Adobe Indesign and IDML packaged files if preferred, but make sure you supply all links and fonts when sending your files. We can work with jpgs, tiffs and psd formats if you cannot supply as PDF, these will need to be produced at the correct sizes and preferably as High Resolution rgb images at 300dpi.
If you are producing your book or artwork via Microsoft Word, please “export to PDF” before sending it to us, as Word files tend to reformat and produce inaccurate results if supplied as .docx files.
HOW SHOULD I EXPORT MY FILES?
When exporting your PDF in Adobe Indesign, Illustrator or QuarkXpress, please save your file under the “High Quality Print” setting. Please export files as single pages, not spreads. Our machines run on a Colour Conversion Output setting of Coated Fogra39, but we can happily accept sRGB, RGB & CMYK files in PDF format (no spot colours).
For general print files; please include at least 2mm bleed and export with crop marks included, but leave all other marks ticked OFF as we don’t need these. Please see screenshot for correct settings. For binding files; please email us with the details of your book and we will be able to assist you with any specific requests (ie: spine size and bleed).

how shall i send my file?
We can accept files up to 18mb by email, but anything over that size should be sent to us as a link via WeTransfer - Drag and drop your files on to the WeTransfer browser window, select “Send as email” and send your files to repro@blissetts.com
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Once you have booked your artwork with our estimating team, we will send you a “soft proof” of your artwork to check. This will be 150dpi low resolution versions of your files, to ensure all details are correct as images on screen will not show, for example, hidden transparency’s. This process allows clients to view these, as well as a representation of how the colours will be printed. Let us know you’re happy to go to print, and we’ll do the rest.
