MEET THE TEAM
CHRIS BLISSETT - MANAGING DIRECTOR
Chris joined father, Gary, in the family business in September 2009 and becomes the fourth generation of Blissett in the company. Chris' arrival in the company has meant that they can further develop the digital side of the business.
GARY BLISSETT
Gary Blissett has worked at the family company since 1971, He became Managing Director in 1989 and as of January 1st 2021 has handed the reigns to Chris. Gary now looks after the sales & marketing of the company and remains as a consultant for fine binding, restoration and conservation of books.
DARDAN RAKOVICA - PRINT PRODUCTION MANAGER
Dardan’s interest in the printing industry began with his family business at a very young age. He joined the company in 2010 as a print account manager and has since progressed into a management role. Since working at Blissetts he has enhanced his skills further in digital print and production and his main areas of expertise are the technical side of print as well as ensuring that the quality of the finished product is to the highest standard.
MARK THOMPSON - BINDERY MANAGER Mark has been with the company since 1987. Mark learned the skill of bookbinding with Blissetts and has been in charge of the bindery since 1997 with day to day responsibility of all incoming work, training of staff and improvement of systems to ensure a smooth work flow to high standards.
TINA CREME - FINANCE
Tina, a fellow member of the Association for Accounting Technicians (FMAAT) has over 30 years experience in senior/management accountancy roles. Tina has been juggling figures for Blissetts since February 2007 and is responsible for ensuring all things financial run like clockwork.
ALAN WATT - ESTIMATE MANAGER
Alan has been working in the publishing industry for 44 years, and joined Blissetts in August 2018, bringing his expertise on all things print to our Bindery department. Alan hails from Glasgow, so there’s no fear about him finding our London offices too cold.
PIOTR SAKOWICZ - SENIOR BINDER & RESTORER
Piotr has been crafting his skills with Blissetts since 2010, and is a master of fine binding and restoration. Not only does he love his job, he records it too. We have Piotr to thank for much of the wonderful binding photography on this website. Thanks, Piotr!
ROBBIE PATTERSON - STUDIO MANAGER
Robbie joined Blissetts in 2011, initially to manage digital design for Lidl, before becoming Studio Manager of our Repro and Artwork departments. His favourite part of working at Blissetts is helping clients. Robbie built and designed this site and is your contact for any design, artwork or repro enquiries.
MARK WEBSTER - ESTIMATE MANAGER
Mark joined the team at Blissetts in 2017, and is your contact for any print estimates or questions you need answering. Mark spends his spare time supporting Chelsea and playing punk music, so might have a sore throat when you call him!
BORIS BLISSETT - COMPANY MASCOT
Boris joined the team at Blissetts in 2019 and was quickly promoted to Manager of cuddles and walkies. Boris thinks you'd be barking mad not to come to us for your printing & binding services.
