PHOTOBOOKS PAYMENTS

All transaction information passed between Blissetts Photo books and Sage Pay’s systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent from our servers to Sage Pay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely assured that nothing we pass to Sage Pay’s servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

Once on Sage Pay systems, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign's Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data Sage Pay hold is extremely secure and they are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.

Sage Pay’s systems are scanned quarterly by Trustwave which are an independent Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) for the payment card brands.

Sage pay is also audited annually under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) and is a fully approved Level 1 payment services provider, which is the highest level of compliance. We are also active members of the PCI Security Standards Council (SSC) that defines card industry global regulation.

MATERIALS AND MATERIAL COLOURS

Colours shown in any colour charts may not always match the true colour of the book you receive; this is due to varying screen resolutions. The colours do not tend to vary too much but your attention should be drawn to this.

We cannot also be held liable for any changes in the colour of cloth/leather or other materials. This includes discontinuation of certain lines/colours or materials as these factors remain outside of our control.

RETURNS POLICY

Blissetts is sure that you will be happy with the manufacture and workmanship of any product supplied to you. On the off chance your book arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, contact us via admin@blissetts.com within 14 days of receipt, supplying us with any relevant details of your order. If advised to do so the product should also be returned within the 14 day period. Blissetts will not cover the return postage costs but if at fault we will correct the errors and send the book back to you or replace it. Please understand that Blissetts does not provide refunds or cancel orders, except for any cases settled outside of this agreement.

Please note that each book you order from us is individually made and as you will understand are one off’s unless more than one copy is ordered. Every book is bound and printed on site to a very high standard but Blissetts cannot guarantee that each and every copy is identical, minor differences may occur in printing and binding in terms of print colour fidelity and binding type. Whilst we work very hard to keep our products as consistent as possible, this variation is a normal occurrence and is not considered a manufacturing defect and does not qualify for a reprint.

Your book is designed by you and Blissetts does not proof, edit, or change your content in any way. This means it’s your responsibility to review your book before you publish, and fix:

Typos, grammar, unfinished text, or other text errors

Low-resolution images that may appear blurry in print

Design issues, including book format, organization, style, colour, and page layout

Any other creative choices you made in the photo book builder you want to revisit

Whilst any software supplied by Blissetts works to minimise these errors such as the pre-order flight checks and warning symbols on the photo book software we cannot accept any responsibility for poor print quality, which is down to the files you supply.

INSURANCE

Book valuations We hold comprehensive insurance for all work and stock and material held on our premises and on which we are working. However, if material /  books are  entrusted to us and that value is estimated to be over £1000 in value  then we have to be told about this before we accept the order.

We are not book valuers. We accept your instructions for working on books but if you think there is a value to your book it is up to you to find out about this. It is possible that any valuation could determine the extent and type of work we should undertake to maintain or increase that value.

Any claim for loss of damage to material we hold in trust will have to be substantiated by an independent valuation and if one is not available then issuers will only provide an indemnity which will be the cost of replacing is this is possible. Claims will be limited to a valuation on the goods and not applicable to any other value you may place on the material

Additional insurance can be agreed with any client and that cost will be based on a premium agreed with our insurers and payable with order.
